...no matter how strange it is!
So, this might be a bit more TMI-ish and not necessarily Beauty related, but seeing as I am betting most of my followers are women we all have to deal with the same nature-given tendencies that come with our sex.
Aside from the "Pad or Tampon" discussion comes this little box I saw on the shelf at CVS and had to pick up.
So here we have below, a new type of "feminine protection" called
instead that says you get 12 hrs of protection per the 14 "softcups" in the box.

Instructions on the back lead me to believe it's similar in insertion as a female condom would be (hah, granted I've never used one so I'm just guessing here).

Ease of use:
Not terrible, I don't normally use applicators myself for tampons and haven't bought pads in YEARS so I'm a bit more on the "I can get dirty with it" than others might be for the "hands on experience" of it all.
Success/Fail?
I had one "fail" on my first try, it's kinda a self check thing... you need to make sure it's not in TOO far where one side of the cup tips down thus allowing for leaking but in far enough you don't feel like it's going to make it's way back out either. My 2nd try was much better, but for someone not used to it the hard plastic ring you squeeze can take some getting used to, and can start to sensitize you during the learning period of trying it.
I'll probably have backup protection if I try them again (pads) since I don't want some embarrassing moment at work or out and about that I can't recover from.
Good to note is that if you have TSS this is NOT an alternative option you can use... just like if you were to get TSS after used with tampons the same thing applies.
Here's some info I've found on the web about it if you want to read more:
www.softcup.com Walgreen's, Rite Aid, Kroger, Peyton, Wal-Mart, Target, Supervalu, Longs, CVS, Longs, Safeway, Save Mart, Raley's, Ralph's, and Fred Meyer. If you cannot find it in your area store, we ask that you request the manager stock the product. It is up to each individual store manager to decide as to what to put on the shelf. The more requests, the more likely they will stock the Softcup®.
